The rules that guide use of Eval Top-up

These terms govern your use of the Eval Top-up platform across the web app, mobile app, and other supported channels.

Effective date: July 1, 2025

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or otherwise have the legal capacity to use this service under Nigerian law.

2. Scope of Service

Eval Top-up provides digital utility services including airtime, data, electricity bill payments, cable TV subscriptions, wallet funding, withdrawals, betting top-up, and related payment services.

3. User Registration and Security

You are responsible for providing accurate account details and safeguarding your password, OTPs, transaction PIN, and any device used to access the platform.

4. Transaction Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of all phone numbers, smart card numbers, meter numbers, account details, and any other identifiers entered during a transaction.

5. Payment Processing and Charges

Transactions may attract service, deposit, or provider fees as displayed before confirmation. By proceeding, you agree to the displayed charges.

6. Transaction Confirmation

Successful transactions are acknowledged through transaction history, receipts, notifications, or other channels. Some transactions may be delayed by provider or network dependencies.

7. Refund Policy

Completed transactions are generally non-refundable unless a failed, duplicate, or unresolved provider-side issue qualifies for review under our internal resolution policy.

8. Service Availability

We aim to make the platform available at all times, but service interruptions may occur due to maintenance, banking networks, third-party providers, or technical issues outside our control.

9. Prohibited Use

You must not use the platform for fraud, impersonation, unlawful transactions, abuse of promotions, or any activity that threatens platform security or regulatory compliance.

10. Third-Party Services

Some parts of the platform rely on external service providers including payment gateways, financial institutions, and billers. We are not liable for downtime or failures caused solely by those third parties.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the amount paid for the affected transaction.

13. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, misuse, regulatory risk, or breach of these terms.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms as our services evolve. Continued use of the platform after any update means you accept the revised terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable Nigerian law.
